History

ICM Fire and Security Limited was formed in October 1998 as Tan Electrical Services Ltd. The name was changed in June 2001 following the departure of one of the original directors. Our 10th anniversary was marked by a staff lunch at Quaglinos on 1st November 2008.

ICM Fire and Security Limited has grown from its early days, when both directors worked 'on the tools' and administration was carried out in a bedroom on a 486 Compaq Computer; now we are a million pound plus company operating from modern offices at International House in Orpington.

The Managing Director is committed to training and the majority of our installation team are either qualified electricians, apprentices on the JTL Scheme or adult trainees, studying to become electricians on day release at local colleges. Four of our team have qualified to the 17th Edition of the IET wiring regulations with others booked on courses in the near future.
